About Us

The Green Knights is a military motorcycle club (MMC) that was formed in 1999 and recognized in  2000 at McGuire AFB. The founder, Adam Buehler, wanted to organize activities, bring awareness to and mentor fellow base motorcyclists.  With the aid of a few key personnel, they organized and created a club where riders could get together, discuss issues, help each other, participate in riding events and appropriately voice concerns on issues involving the motorcycling community.  The Green Knights are many things, most of all, we are people with military affiliations who come together and enjoy a common interest in motorcycling.  After gathering just a few riders Chapter One was formed.  From that small core of personnel it has grown in breadth to be accepted at numerous locations across all branches.  This is a club for the military populace and their dependants.  Our members include active duty, retirees, DOD civilians and their dependants.  We do not discriminate against type of motorcycle or scooter.  Family members and friends are always welcome to any event be it ride or meeting.

Knights are a unique group of riders. There are the Blues who serve the public, the Reds who fight fires, the Whites who perform emergency medical treatment and the Greens who serve the country.  Each of us Blue, Red, White and Green, serves.

The Green Knights work closely with Safety and Security personnel so that riders can retain their rights while following the regulations.  The Green Knights stand for SAFETY.  The Safety Director is responsible to keep personnel updated on DOD and DOT requirements and also keep abreast of local changes to traffic regulations. The Executive Board disseminates this information to the widest target audience base possible to keep all personnel informed of their requirements.

We are always looking for new members. If you are a military, retired, DoD, or Military Contractor motorcycle rider, and would like to learn more about joining the Green Knights contact us or come to one of monthly meetings.  Here is a link for the membership application form, LINK.  Interested personnel can/should review the club's By-Laws and here is a link to them, LINK.
